Designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC-LA) in 2008, HALO delivers patient-centered care that integrates medical, behavioral, dental, and supportive services under one coordinated model. Every aspect of HALO’s work reflects a deep commitment to equity, dignity, and long-term health outcomes for the individuals and families it serves.
For patients, HALO is a trusted healthcare home where compassion, access, and continuity of care come first. For medical professionals, HALO is a purpose-driven clinical environment that values collaboration, evidence-based practice, and meaningful community impact. By addressing both clinical needs and social determinants of health, HALO creates a setting where patients receive thoughtful, comprehensive care and healthcare professionals can practice medicine aligned with their values, expertise, and commitment to service in the Sacramento community.
