Internships & Externships

HALO offers hands-on externships for students studying to become medical assistants, dental assistants and registered dental assistants, and medical billing/coding or administrative assistant professionals. Placements run inside our fast-paced clinics, which see roughly 100 to 200 patients a day, so externs work alongside our clinical staff and build real, on-the-job experience.

Every extern starts with training on our policies and procedures before taking on supervised duties, with ongoing evaluations and feedback along the way. Our goal is for externs to leave with the skills, confidence, and experience to move into paid employment.
